This exhibition is a collaboration between the students of the Academy Koefia and Temple University Rome, with the intention to encourage the exchange of ideas and inspiration.

The Academy is Koefia known for its great cultural and craft of the students, in particular for design Haute Couture and for the accuracy and attention to the manual. The quality and technique are the basis of their teaching. The Academy Koefia is the oldest in the High School of Art Costume and Fashion (1954), but also one of the most contemporary, considering the success of their graduates in today’s world of fashion. the Temple University Rome is one of the first American universities to be established in Rome in 1966, when a professor with a small group of art students arrives in Rome and is based in the Villa Caproni, in the Flaminio area. Students come from across the United States to study in Rome for a semester, especially the arts, as well as ancient and contemporary Italian history, architecture, art history, cinema, and other humanities Mediterranean. In recent years, the Temple Rome has been distinguished by the quality of students of art and the strong encouragement to enter the Roman world if only for the short period of study in the capital. For Koefia Academy, 12 students from the third year of study, coordianti by Noushin Moghtader, Laura Di Niro, Tania Lippolis, Julia Porreca present their bustiers made during their program of study. A remake of one of the most discussed and most respected leaders of women’s history, these bustiers are made by hand with the techniques of Italian haute couture. Div>

the bustiers are constructed as true works of art, designed by the property up to the stage of color, made in the details, and refer to the forms and imagery of Pablo Picasso, the protagonist of the historical avant-gardes of the twentieth century artist of great eclectic and experimental techniques and innovations. div>

Temple University presents the designs of the students of Rome Sketchbook, followed by their professor, Katherine Krizek. These designs reflect the work of several weeks when each student has identified a different and personal to relate to fashion. div>
The two-dimensional drawings and monochrome are put in relation to the three-dimensional bustier. div>

The students at Temple Rome show great attention to technique and the quality of their work and a great source of inspiration, each one different, from the contemporary to the old, from accessories to facilities, the retail process. div>
