Dreaming was the theme of Michael Kors’ Fall 2019 runway show, which took place during New York Fashion Week. From the venue—Cipriani Wall Street, transformed into an old-school ballroom with distressed herringbone floors, velvet curtains, disco balls and chandeliers—to Barry Manilow’s finale performance and the Studio 54 capsule designs, the show was a celebration of individual style, glamour and romance.
This year’s runway show also featured a fabulous finish courtesy of the legendary Barry Manilow. The singer/songwriter performed during the models’ finale walk, serenading the audience with a memorable rendition of his famous Copacabana song. Iconic supermodel and longtime muse Patti Hansen closed the show in her first runway walk since 1994.
