F2A by Federica Gatti

F2A is a handbag label created by the eclectic young designer Federica Gatti, born in 1990, combining versatility, craftsmanship and modern design. Each bag is crafted from the finest Italian leather, while the handles – made from chromed steel brass – are stylistic features of the brand. Clean lines, essential cuts and oversized shapes make F2A bags suitable for any occasion. The bags do not have inner liner allowing to see the leather processing and preserving its intrinsic features.

Wild inspirations and geometric shapes feature the new F2A Fall Winter 2015-16 Collection by Federica Gatti. Exploring new relations between flowing volume and and heterogeneous patterns, the designer plays with contrast as a starting point to build shoulder bags, unlined maxi totes with edge-to-edge seams and carry-all clutches, inspired by the conceptual universe of Anish Kapoor. Clear-cut shapes mellow through the leather consistence and saturated plain-colour paintings. As a permanent stylistic feature of the brand, metal details outline basic handles and shoulder straps. The colour chart goes from caramel nuances to warm and bright tones like pink peony alternated with cow pattern crowning to absolute black.
