Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel back to talk and this time it does so inspired by Princess Sissi with the collection Métiers d’art
After the release of the short film “Reincarnation” which sees the top model of the moment Cara Delevingne and singer Pharrell Williams interpret real Viennese of other times, Chanel catwalk leads an elegant collection, rich but measured, full of details and references to the Baroque and the unbridled luxury never exceeded in the excess.
The Schloss Leopoldskron, Viennese castle of the 18th century where the parade was held, was decorated as they used to do for much of the nineteenth century dances: baroque chandeliers, tables overflowing with sweets and fruit, sessions elegant brocade fabrics on the windows. The clothes were transposed to prêt – porter of the Vienna of that time: tweed, satin, taffeta and leather combined with buckles, belts and valuable applications.
The palette of colors and accessories was the classic Chanel handbags, belts and bows in white, red, blue and black nay.
