A time of uncertainty, tension and violence calls for moral and political leadership that can only come through education. A look back to the classic philosophers, a comfort that comes with a new look to art and culture. For Spring/Summer 2018, Angelos Frentzos puts on the forefront young men that feel comfortable with their bodies, boys that sometimes wear their fathers’ shirts and jackets, some other times they play with classic basics, like the athletic hoodie, combining it with embroideries taped on with foil tape, a new proposal from the innovative designer that has introduced many times trends, seen much later again on big fashion houses catwalks. Sketches by pen, prints based on notebooks, yearbook photos, are only some of the elements of this collection, that has a loose, oversized fit in most of the tops, contrasting the slim fit of the trousers. Bypassing the recent agender trend, the collection of Frentzos focuses on youth, beyond race and body types, giving the leading part to young men that have the wish to dare and to achieve.
