Achtung Octagon! by MYKITA & Bernhard Willhelm

The octagon quirky is the new entry in the collection MYKITA & Bernhard Willhelm.

In the model URSULA the octagon, which in the past was used in very small size, has been completely changed in its proportions and enlarged twice. The bright colors and psychedelic whole mirror lens eyewear give a hippie look from the 70s. As for JANIS, another model from the same collection, we have chosen a metal frame only rinunci- went deliberately adding to property. This reduction does put the spotlight on the radical form of the glasses.

Just as original ERWIN, a pair of glasses whose shape brings together different “personality.” It is in fact a pattern reminiscent of the aviator glasses worn in the 70s dell’Highway Patrol agents in Los Angeles, mixed with the look of a Village People macho and ambiguous. This is ERWIN. The most pronounced of the frame is the teardrop shape of the lens over-emphasized. To contrast the shape we think the extravagant selection of colors (especially the new International Blue and Sulfur) which contradicts that look extremely cool, conferring ERWIN a hint of irony.
