THE NEW GENERATION FESTIVAL

The New Generation Festival 2018 is inspired by the first ever Corsini festival of 1680. Over 300 years later, the Palazzo Corsini and Gardens welcome you to this year’s Renaissance Masque featuring opera, theatre and music to rival the greatest carnivals of the Renaissance. With all-new acoustics and a firmament of rising stars to watch, the New Generation Festival 2018 will be more spectacular than ever.

An international event, from August 29th to September 1st, in the private Gardens of the Palazzo Corsini – a renaissance masterpiece belonging to one of the oldest families in Florence. A platform for The Stars of Tomorrow giving young music talents from every corner of the world the chance to shine in a stunning Italian setting; presenting the highest standard of opera, music and theatre in an annual festival. A programme of opera, theatre and music played live and streamed.

An annual event that breaks down barriers between generations and brings together all genres of music in one place; from opera to jazz and pop, with motto: GREAT MUSIC IS GREAT MUSIC.
