Europe signature products of its territories

Since 1992 the European Union adopted a regulation whose primary mission is to harmonize and protect geographical indications, the back to the regions, the production area, the know-how of the producers and the quality of food and agricultural products.

fruit and vegetables benefit from the official signature of quality: Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) ensuring a unique flavor and authenticity as well as a protection against theft, counterfeiting and copying that affect both producers and consumers.

this program European multi-country (France, Italy and Spain) promotes the quality of signatures official European PDO – PGI, through the example of 8 fruit and vegetables.

for France we find the Kiwi de l’Adour, Asparagus Sables des Landes, the Strawberry Perigord and Agen Plum; for Italy the Pear Emilia-Romagna, the Peaches and Nectarines Romagna and Radicchio di Treviso; for Spain Kaki Ribera del Xúquer.

The communication campaign and promotion is offered on 3 EU countries: France, Italy and Germany.

most products campaign partners communicate in the domestic market, with the exception of d’Agen plum which promotes activities in Germany and Kaki Ribera del Xúquer which operates only on the French market.
