Biotherm Water Lovers renews its commitment to the protection of earth’s resources with the launch of limited edition products in 2014 reinterpreted by graphic designer and illustrator Anglo-Finnish Sanna Annukka. The initiative marks the third artistic collaboration to raise funds for Mission Blue. The proceeds from the sale will fund a major research project in the Arctic, one of 50 marine protected areas of Mission Blue, the so-called “Hope Spot”.
collaboration 2014 follows the success of previous charitable initiatives that saw the participation of Swedish artists of the caliber of Kari Moden and, before that, by Ingela P. Arrhenius, thanks to which they raised more than 350,000 Euros in favor of Mission Blue, an international partner of longtime Biotherm, for the protection of the oceans.

the proceeds from the sale of limited editions will finance fundamental research to study the effects of global warming on the polar bear, the king of the Arctic animals. As the ice continues to melt the Arctic Ocean and the region suffers from the effects of over fishing and pollution, similar research provide an essential vision of the state of health of polar bears as well as useful information on the ecosystem Arctic.
